I had trouble coming up with what I should call my services. It is definitely "Alternative Health"!! Computerized electro dermal screening (CEDS) is the technical term but that really doesn't tell people much and was hard to remember. It is actually a form of dowsing..... |
The manner in which I use CEDS is biofeedback. It is simply your body's response to a word on the computer screen or product resting on the attached plate.
"Biofeedback is a form of alternative medicine that involves measuring a subject's quantifiable bodily functions such as blood pressure, heart rate, skin temperature, sweat gland activity, and muscle tension, conveying the information to the patient in real-time." - en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Biofeedback
So in this case it is an innate ability that you possess that alters your skin resistance readings that conveys information to you. I would also term it "computerized dowsing."
Dowsing - when you dowse for information using a pendulum, you consciously try to hold the pendulum steady but you are holding the pendulum. So it is pretty obvious that you are the one who makes the pendulum move. So I would say that it is your unconscious mind that is moving the pendulum and giving you the answers. In the case of CEDS, it is your unconscious mind changing your electrical skin resistance and giving you the answers. - bfg
And even though this can yield remarkable results, it is not the same as a medical test. Anything that could affect your physical health should be discussed with your health care provider. I am not a health care provider. I am a dowser who has read a pile of alternative health books. I will tell you what books have good information regarding your health problems. I give you information that you can share with your physician.
"About 20 years ago I attended a meeting about dowsing. At this meeting, a bright and seemingly informed man gave an interesting demonstration of how dowsing worked. This dowser presented the audience (about twenty five people) with a challenge. He said he could prove that everything contains energy, even thought. The dowser then proposed that he leave the room for five minutes and while he was gone, everyone in the room should pick a spot, the same spot, in that room. After everyone focused on that one spot, the dowser would return to the room and everyone in the audience should “think about” that particular spot in the room. Well, the dowser did return to the room and guess where his dowsing rod pointed? Yep, it pointed to the exact spot that we, the audience, were thinking about! I recall being quite amazed at this demonstration, and the possibility arose within my mind that even invisible things like thoughts could be comprised of energy."
I believe that through dowsing your body can tell you what nutritional products are balanced energetically with your body. This is the same as when people use applied kinesiology (muscle testing) or a pendulum. So if you are wondering which brand of tomato juice to buy, you can dowse each product to see which one "balances" your energy better.
I also am a firm believer in the power of prayer, positive thinking, and rituals. I promote setting aside two brief times every day and performing a ritual of positive thinking as a short prayer of gratitude and love. For this purpose I will give my clients either blessed/charged water or stone which is to be used as a reminder and focal point in the daily ritual. I may also just use a daily nutritional product instead of water for this purpose.
If you have seen the movie What the Bleep or read the book Messages from Water, you would be familiar with Emoto's picture study of the effect of words, music, and prayer on water crystals. Nice words and prayer make beautiful snowflakes. I believe that the imprinted water is similar to Emoto's water that made beautiful snowflakes. Nice words and prayer have a positive effect on people, too. I will usually put a sticker on the water or product to remind clients to think positively.
I am not a priest but I believe that anyone can make their own version of "holy water" through prayer. By blessing the water with love, the water is "charged" with positive energy. The Asyra also "imprints" an energetic pattern onto water. The company calls it a "homeopathic" remedy but since it isn't made in the same way as a homeopathic remedy, I would disagree that it is a homeopathic remedy at all. There are no commonly accepted scientific studies to prove that these "imprinted remedies" cure any health problems. You will have to decide for yourself if the remedy has any value to you. I also imprint the energy onto stones.
I work for a "spiritual balance" by working with energy - thought energy.

BE AWARE: The electrodermal testing devices have not been approved by the Food and Drug Administration ("FDA") for assessment of nutritional deficiencies, food allergies, the presence of toxins, Candida, Epstein Barr virus, or the weakness of organs and glands. Use of the device for these purposes is inconsistent with FDA approval. The galvanic skin response device is a Class II device that may be used for lie detection and for biofeedback.
There are no generally accepted completed clinical studies which demonstrate that the electrodermal testing devices are effective when used to assess for nutritional deficiencies, the presence of toxins, food allergies, Candida, Epstein Barr virus, and the strength or weakness of organs and glands.
Your child's exposure to lead or heavy metals cannot be determined solely through electrodermal testing.
You should not make decisions about your or your child's health and nutritional needs from information obtained solely through electrodermal testing.
You are to discuss all CEDS recommendations with your health care provider before implementing any of them. Further, that any recommended dietary changes or dietary supplements based partly on the results of electrodermal testing should all be discussed with your family physician before implementing any of them.
There are medical tests for many, if not all of the issues that respondents use electrodermal testing to assess, and you are strongly encouraged to confirm the exposures identified through standard medical testing if you or your family physician feel that it is necessary. I make no claims that the screenings find anything other than energy imbalances or that the energized water or other products actually do anything other than help balance energy.
You and God are the only ones who can heal you.
