HOUSE RULES - pg. 6
RULES FOR PARTIES
EACH CHILD MAY HAVE TWO PARTIES PER YEAR
| Parties are to be planned together with parents, and
parents will be here during the party. |
GUIDELINES FOR HOSTING A PARTY
| It is illegal to offer alcohol to guests under the age of
21 or allow guests to use drugs in our home. We could be brought to
court on criminal charges and/or have to pay monetary damages in a civil
lawsuit if we were to furnish alcohol or drugs to minors.
THEREFORE:
Guests who try to bring in alcohol or drugs or who otherwise refuse
to cooperate with our expectations will be asked to leave.
If any teen arrives at the party drunk or under the influence of any
drug, we will notify his parents. UNDER NO CIRCUMSTANCES CAN WE ALLOW
HIM TO DRIVE HOME HIMSELF.
Party attendance and times will be limited. NO OPEN-HOUSE PARTIES -
All guests are to be personally invited.
A parent is to be home to chaperone the party.
Any guest who leaves the party may not be allowed to return.
If things get out of hand, the police will be called. You or your
parent will make the phone call. |
GUIDELINES FOR ATTENDING A PARTY
| We must know the name, address, and phone number of the
party giver. If you want to go somewhere else, you must call home and
get permission. If you do not, you can expect entertainment privileges
to be revoked and/or grounding - duration to be determined.
We must know what time you will be home and how you are going to get
to and from the party. Consequences - same as above.
If there are things happening at the party that you know we would
disapprove of or that you are uncomfortable with, CALL HOME or a
relative to get a ride home. Find a safe ride home.
