Pecan Pie

  • 1 cup sugar
  • 2/3 cup corn syrup
  • ½ stick butter
  • 1 tbsp flour
  • 3 eggs
  • ¼ tsp salt
  • 1 tsp vanilla
  • 1 cup pecans
  1. Combine sugar, butter, syrup till smooth.
  2. Add flour, salt, eggs.
  3. Add vanilla and nuts.
  4. Bake 1 hour at 350 degrees in unbaked pie shell.

  • 2½ cups flour
  • 3/4 tsp salt
  • 1 tsp sugar
  • ½ tsp baking powder
  • 3/4 cup shortening
  • 1/3 cup cold water

Pie crust and lattuce for top

  • 3 eggs
  • 2-2/3 tbsp milk
  • 2 cups sugar
  • 4 tbsp flour
  • 3/4 tsp nutmeg
  • 4 cups cut-up rhubarb
  • 1 tbsp butter

Bake 50-60 minutes at 350 degrees.
